Spring Equinox

Spring is generally a time to plant seeds and tend to them so that they grow into beautiful flowers and plants, and yes, we can still do that this year, but this year is a little different.

On the equinox light and dark are balanced and it is the official start of spring. This year is a little different, as we are home bound and dealing with the outbreak of Covid-19. How can we use this equinox to still look positively to the future even during this different spring?

We can still make plans, we might just not have definite answers as to when they will come to fruition. So perhaps this time can teach us non-attachment, because we don’t know what tomorrow may bring. But do we ever, really know what tomorrow will bring? We don’t, but sometimes we think we have more control than we really do.

So what to do?

Have a plan, set a new routine for these at-home days. Routines help to keep us focused. . .and feeling somewhat in control.

Journal – write down plans for the next six months and then begin to put those plans into action.

Exercise, eat right, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep. Right now it is more important than ever to stay on track with our regular healthy habits.

Call and text friends and family even if you can’t see them in person. Tonight I am having my first virtual Happy Hour.

Sit tight my friends. Spring is springing and birds will be singing! Much love!!

Spring will be here in full bloom before we know it. Take the at-home time to plan your next steps.
