The planet Mercury is currently in retrograde from 7/7/19 until 7/31/19.

What does this mean? Mercury rules communications, travel, technology and electronics, so there are certain guidelines to follow during a retrograde period.
This happens three times a year, on average, for about three weeks each time, but the effects can be felt the week before and the week after.
Communications: Because Mercury oversees all types of communications, it’s wise to think before we speak. If there is something sensitive to discuss or something that could be misunderstood, it’s best to do it in person. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
Travel: If you must travel during this time, check and double check all of your details. Flight schedules may change so make sure you always have the most current information. Allow extra time so you aren’t rushed.
Electronics and Technology: don’t be surprised if your dryer breaks down or your computer freezes. Save documents often to avoid losing data, and back up important information.
Contracts: it isn’t the best time to sign binding contracts, but again if you must, make sure to read the fine print before signing.
It’s not all bad news either. Retrograde periods are a great time to re-vise, re-view, re-visit, and re-member.
If you have a project you began awhile ago, it’s the perfect time to revise and edit. Dust off the book in progress and get to work! It’s a great time to finish projects.
You may find that people from your past are reaching out. It’s a good time to reconcile too.
It’s also a great time to clear out closets and donate old clothes and items that just aren’t serving you anymore. Re-cycle those items by giving them to Goodwill or another charity.
So be sure to pay attention to communications, travel details, and binding contracts. Be mindful of your words, and re-vise old projects.
Have a productive July!
